Happy birthday, Aunt Suzanne! We hope all is well in Baltimore and hope to see you again soon!
Love, Blaine, Sarah, Andrew and Sally
February has been a big month for Blaine so far! He’s transitioning into his big boy bed:
And he also has a new big boy chair to replace his high chair:
This doesn’t really warrant its own post so here’s another pic of Sarah’s PEPS group – Sarah is bottom right wearing the white top and black pants:
Here are all the photos from January! Sarah figured out how to pull the froggy on this seat:
We took a number of walks and on rainy days have been enjoying this new umbrella from Gram (and we get so many compliments on Aunt Suzanne’s eggplant hat):
Blaine’s 33 3/4 inches tall:
Blaine has been enjoying this new rain jacket from Great Aunt Jane on rainy days, as well:
Sarah had her first bus ride, the #10 home from the QFC (so, only a few blocks):
Daddy went to India for the last week of January and we missed him SO much! I took this picture in an attempt to recreate a similar one I took of Blaine two years ago:
Here’s the pic of Blaine for comparison:
And now back to Sarah:
Sarah, in her cute new green polka-dot coat from Tim and Liz:
Blaine walking backwards on the balance beam at the Little Gym:
A shaky video of Sarah giggling (sorry for the camerawork – it’s difficult to film while encouraging giggling):
It took us pretty much the whole day to get through all the presents — here are a few pics:
Daddy made a delicious dinner of short ribs and mashed potatoes with green beans, and we didn’t even have room for the yule log for dessert (we found room the next day, though).
The final present wasn’t opened until Friday the 26th. Go Seahawks!
Here’s a video of Sarah enjoying her new train… before Blaine took it over. Now it doesn’t work quite right, but that’s not a problem.
