Happy Birthday greetings from Seattle/India!  We hope that it’s been a great one so far, with more fun to come. And, of course, we’re sorry that we aren’t there with you to celebrate, but we’re looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Blaine was all business at breakfast the other morning… (thanks, Uncle Tim!)

It was luau theme day in the Infant 1 classroom last Friday and Blaine wore this festive onesie (which is actually from Hawaii) for the occasion!  I believe thanks go to Jutta Hicks (Gram, please correct me if that’s wrong…)

Daddy made a delicious lamb curry last weekend that we all enjoyed — the lamb cooked for 48 hours in the sous vide and came out incredibly tender!  And the curry sauce was awesome, much better than any of the neighborhood takeout places.

We’re going to miss Daddy while he’s in India next week!

We went to the Amazon Summer Picnic on Saturday, August 10, at CenturyLink field (where the Seahawks and the Sounders play).  It was pretty cool to get out on the turf — Blaine seemed confused that he wasn’t able to pull it out like the grass at home.

We celebrated Blaine’s 10th month by hitting 10,000 miles on our car!
