I didn’t seem to take that many pictures in January, so here they all are in one post. On New Year’s Day, Blaine helped Andrew prepare the traditional black-eyed peas and collard greens soup. We are all set with our good luck for 2019!
On the second day of the year, which was also the last day of the holiday break, I took the kids to the Rye Nature Center.
On Jan 5 we took down our Christmas tree, and Blaine was happy to again get to use the vacuum cleaner.
The kids have been enjoying watching the work going on at our neighbors’ house — they are redoing their backyard, patio, and driveway.
We went to the 4th annual Larchmont Manor Beach bonfire (we have been to all four).
One Saturday we took the train into the city to visit the American Museum of Natural History. We got from Grand Central to the museum in a taxi, which was very exciting.
The end. January was a quiet month.
